Shoe me

With the exception of Monday’s Rollasoles, I haven’t featured a ton of shoes lately.  But if I recall correctly, a Mike and Chris pair were the most recent object of my affection.  And they’ve done it again…

The Eusebio sandal ($355) has a slight vintage 70’s flair but is super current at the same time.  Here’s a rundown of my favorite features…  The t-strap is delicate and slimming and offsets the chunkier heel.  And speaking of which, the 4″ stacked wooden heel lends as much support as it does style.  Plus, the smoky grey leather is less expected than a standard black or brown and will work beautifully in all seasons.  (You can definitely wear this with opaque tights in the winter.)

In short, I want ’em.  Real bad.

I Need It: Mike and Chris sandals

Once again, cupid has shot an arrow in my direction.  This time, it was aimed right at my foot.  The Horatio Crisscross sandal from Mike and Chris ($320) is the perfect summer shoe for when you want a little height but don’t want to come across as overdressed or trying too hard – which can sometimes be the case with heels in warm weather.

This shoe is pretty much perfect in every way.  The neutral color, the woven straps, the mid-height heel…  I could wax poetic about it all day long.  But I won’t.  Instead, I think I’ll just go buy it!

Psst… Hey fellow Raleigh-area residents – if you’re interested in shopping local, I do believe that Monkee’s at North Hills has this shoe in stock!
