I’ve always had a soft spot in my heart for Henri Bendel. So it’s no wonder I immediately took a liking to this lovely bag ($395) featuring an off-kilter version of their iconic stripes.
At 14 inches across and nearly 12 inches tall, it’s big enough to fit your essentials for a weekend away but since I’ve been known to lug around purses that could just about double as laundry bags (cue the Chloe Edith and the LV Neverfull GM and the MbMJ Totally Turnlock Faridah), I’d probably use this as a regular ol’ day bag. Especially in my London days… Toss in a book for the tube, an umbrella and an A-Z street guide (every Londoner’s BFF) on top of all the usual suspects – makeup pouch, sunnies, phone, mints and wallet and suddenly my Neverfull was… well… nearly full. So I think I could certainly make use of every square inch of available space in this tote.
The Bendel bag features gold tone hardware and python trim for an extra-luxe feel. Not that you need it when you’ve already got the Bendel stripes on your side.
